His parents gifted his older brother, Julián, a guitar and microphone when Manuel was born to ensure no jealousy between the siblings. Ironically, this act of sibling love would set the stage for Manuel's remarkable career. He quickly realized that his heart belonged to music. The Turizo brothers, Manuel and Julián, formed a dynamic duo – with Manuel on vocals and Julián mastering the ukulele. The piece ran in their blood, as their father was also a musician.
